Sweden

Since it was founded in 1995, The Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation has had its headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden.

The headquarters house the department for resources and internal processes, the cooperation development department and the communication department. This is also where the overall planning for Kvinna till Kvinna, lead by the Secretary General, is being done. About 50 of Kvinna till Kvinna’s employees work at the headquarters.

Much of our advocacy work concerning the Swedish government and the EU is carried out from Stockholm and it is also one of the places where our International Training Programmes on the UN Security Council Resolution 1325 are being held.
